Yes, it is true that the ability to end an animal's suffering is at hand in our society......you might be able to guess I'm not with the majority opinion of that, even though I don't want to see suffering. I've never faced such a decision, and that's when the opinions really meet the grind. I lost my elder cat two months ago, sort of suddenly.

I could understand that, because the line to cross about when love is expressed through that, or in the fight for life, one wants to alleviate suffering. Isn't it something, though, if you ever notice, that there doesn't seem to be much pain relief advocacy for animals, like morphine is available for humans? The last two days I spent with my cat were those which I would not trade for anything, and I wish I could have done much better for him, if I could have.
