Whilst i have every sympathy with the family & friends, i feel the real victims of this crime are the non gun toting US citizens who again see their innocent children shot.
As I Understand it when the constitution states " the freedom to bear arms" what it actually meant was for the citizens of the NEW nation to form a militia, as the new government did not want a standing army. Over the years this has been hijacked to mean every man & dog armed to the teeth to protect himself, when the actual declaration was intended to protect the nation.
I guess you have no one to blame for the ill's of your society except yourselves, in the same way that we have no on to blame but ourselves for the ill's of our society.
