| MEAT LOAF’S “CRY OVER ME” FROM BAT OUT OF HELL III TO BE RELEASED MAY 7 Meat Loaf“Cry Over Me,” the second single from Meat Loaf’s platinum selling Bat Out of Hell III, will be released on May 7, 2007 on Mercury Records. “Cry Over Me” is available on 2 track CD, DVD and Picture Disc 7”. The DVD features the new video as well as a full length animated video of the album title track “The Monster Is Loose.” The 7” is a special edition picture disc that features original Bat 3 artwork. Meat Loaf is scheduled to travel to the UK in support of the single’s release and is confirmed as a performer on the new British Saturday night Prime Time BBC1 show “Any Dream Will Do,” Andrew Lloyd Webber's latest reality television venture. Meat Loaf will perform his single “Cry Over Me” live on the program on May 5. A comprehensive TV campaign will begin the night after the BBC show and air throughout the month of May. Also on Meat’s UK schedule are interviews and features for Plus Radio 2, Heart FM and Capital. Meat Loaf begins a 15-date UK arena tour on May 10, 2007 with 2 nights at the Manchester MEN. The Tour will be the first live shows in the UK since the illustrious Royal Albert Hall date in October last year, which sold out in 2 hours and saw Meat Loaf perform to an audience of rabid fans. A DVD, recorded live from London, Ontario and directed by Hamish Hamilton of the Bat Out Of Hell trilogy, will be released in October. Bat Out Of Hell III, the third installment of rock’s greatest epic produced by Desmond Child, was released on October 31, 2006 and has already spawned the hit single “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now” (featuring Marion Raven). This first single, released October 16, 2006, entered the UK singles chart at No. 6, giving Meat his highest UK chart position since “I’d Lie For You (And That’s The Truth),” a duet with Patti Russo that reached No. 2 in November 1995. Bat Out Of Hell III has already gone Platinum in the UK having sold nearly 2 Millions copies worldwide, positioning the second single “Cry Over Me” to storm the charts ahead of Meat Loaf’s upcoming sold out UK tour. Bat Out of Hell, released in 1977, is among the best-selling albums of all time. Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell, released in 1993, further captured the public’s fascination with the two albums having sold nearly 50 million copies combined worldwide.
