... is "The Future Ain't What It Used To Be". Why? Because Jennifer Hudson was in "Dreamgirls" and she did "The Monster Is Loose" before this. The record companies have already showed their incompetence by not releasing this track instead of "Cry Over Me". They really did screw this album up, didn't they?
They pigeon-holed Meat by releasing a love ballad as the first single. This has become a Meat Loaf "cliche" and it's obvious the record co. saw it as a safe bet. What's funnier is that the album is a conscious attempt to be something different. Meat has gone out and recorded NU-METAL stuff like "The Monster Is Loose" and "The Land Of The Pig", PIG should have been the first single, TMIL should have been the first single. The love ballad gig had been done a million times.
Any bet COM as a single was, like, the fine-print in Diane's warren. *rolls eyes*
I can't tell you ENOUGH how they screwed this album up. Everything that could EVER go wrong with a Meat Loaf album went wrong here. They just, GRRRR, well and truly screwed it up completely
