I'm surprised WB didn't give him a nod in the first place after "The Musical"

Who would sing it though? It would have to be someone good, I wouldn't like to see it turned into something like "Vindicated" from "Spiderman". Yeesh.

Not really major. Most of "Gotham" does seem to fit except for the obvious line: "GOTHAM CITY IS OUR HOME / BUT WE FEAR THE END OF DAYS."

"The Graveyard Shift" would have to be changed a bit, I actually think Jim should give it to Peter. It shouldn't be a Hook song.

SAME HERE!!! That was my very first impression.

Bizarrely, I also thought of "Rent".

Is it because the Steinman musical fits more with the Burton franchise? I think what Jim's shown us is unique enough to warrant a CD release that wouldn't conflict with the franchise. It may seem a little weird though, especially "Joker's Song" which has all the Jack Nicholson laughter. But Prince's soundtrack for "Batman" was just like the 60s T.V. show, IMO. I think it could work.
