Definitely.
Cohen wrote great songs, but his own interpretations are always a bit....lame. The same with Bob Dylan, btw.
I think Jeff Buckley's interpretation of Hallelujah is defintely one of the most passionate and emotional pieces in music history.
Gotta listen to it again now
