Then I was not describing it properly. Vignettes, in which Mr. Phelps impersonates celebrities or figures of interest/curiosity, pretending them to be on the telephone being interviewed by his partner Mark Thompson, takes satire of an amusing situation and inevitably, like the sun sets in the evening, turns the speech into a wild untamed, unstoppable for minutes, string of sexual analogies, regardless of the context, or the subject. There is no vignette in which he fails to do so, and he overdoes it every time, leaving listeners to hear one after another of these things until by some merciless thread of exhaustion, Mr. Phelps decides to conclude the vignette. Meanwhile, his partner, is laughing, and laughing, at each one, and it eventually did occur to me that if his partner did not laugh at his jokes, the pair would lose their ratings.
If I described 80% of other morning shows, I was just leaving out this part :)
