I know that's probably more of a comedy or a musical but I think that had the most ambitious stunts from any movie. It was directed by John Landis who did the opening sequence for "The Twilight Zone". They were shooting a helicopter stunt with lead-star Vic Morrow (Jennifer Jason Leigh's dad) and two Asian children (extras). The helicopter crashed killing all three of them.
