I agree with you 100%. The Lost Boys and Golden Girl tour of 1988 was Meat's best and I would have paid good money to see it. Unforunately I was only seven years old at the time and not a Meat Loaf fan! The concerts seemed to have a strong Steinman influence, probably beacause most of the spoken word sections were taken from Neverland (I think). I particularly like the 'Mad Man Escapes' part at the beginning, but his best performance is I'm Gonna Love Her For Both Of Us, which is sooooo much better than the Dead Ringer version that its untrue.
