Hugh Jackman -- for either an English stage version OR a possible film of the musical! He has excellent "crossover appeal" (having had a successful film AND stage career, so would attract both types of audiences) which would be good for ticket sales, has a pretty strong legitimate singing voice, can do his own dancing (as proven in both "The Boy from Oz" and "Oklahoma!"), has great personal "presence" as an actor and can play both the "darker" and "lighter" aspects of Von Krolock's personality, and (IMO) looks pretty darn sexy in long, flowing hair ("Van Helsing", etc.)!
He definitely has my vote! I think he'd make a PERFECT Von Krolock! :-)
