I think that has a lot to do with it.
It’s like running a poll today for the greatest songs of all time and a Justin Timberlake or Robbie Williams will win.
Two arguments for bat over bat 2
1) Bat 2 was released on CD Bat 1 was released on vinyl unless it was going to be a double LP the length of songs dictated only 7 were possible on a single album.
2) Bat 1 created the Steinman sound which all the other albums followed
