An alto, yes. Not meant to reach those high notes in these. But she reaches them, sounding like a soprano, but with difficulties making the lyrics clear. Voices have much flexibility to them, but in the flexibility, sometimes things get lost. Sometimes vibratto, sometimes depth, or recognizability, or lyrics. So, I'm not disagreeing. Jim was making an exercise for her voice, which could have been better if she had only a few more upper notes in her range. > One might add that she's also the vocalist on "Catwoman's > Song" and the female vocalist on the "Not Allowed To > Love"-demos. > > > For those who've not heard them, here they are: > > > > > > http://rapidshare.com/files/34595528/Karine_Hannah__Jim_Steinman__-_Braver_Than_We_Are.mp3.html > > > > http://rapidshare.com/files/34595529/Karine_Hannah__Jim_Steinman__-_Is_Nothing_Sacred.mp3.html > > > > http://rapidshare.com/files/34595531/Karine_Hannah__Jim_Steinman__-_Making_Love_Out_of_Nothing_At_All.mp3.html > > > > http://rapidshare.com/files/34595532/Karine_Hannah__Jim_Steinman__-_Safe_Sex.mp3.html | |
