Whenever I listen to a Jim song a picture gets painted in my head. Ill give a few examples and then I was hoping perhaps some people could tell me if they experience anything like this when they listen to Jim songs.
Some songs create a unique scene for example an older man talking to the love of his life over her death bed when I listen to For Crying Out Loud. I picture his descriptions at the end (when he thanks her for everything) and him having flashbacks to the times of their youth like a movie flashback scene.
Another example would be a feeling I get when listening to Back Into Hell and picturing demons and angels fighting each other back and forth with the last blast of the angel theme at the end being their triumphant victory (though at the VERY end evil pops up real quick before the song finishes).
I picture scenes and stories with all the music I listen to but Jims music in particular take me to special places and introduces me to amazing characters (and no not a Genie in Rock and Roll Dreams, hahaha). Perhaps that is why his music means so much to me, and to all of you, to the point it brings out the deepest emotions of our souls.
