First question: stupid question. Compared to the monarchies in existence at the turn of the twentieth century, and the monarchies in existence now, we are missing at least two of them: those two are my family's monarchies, and the other ones of my families' monarchies which survive have their own successions well and solidly in place, thriving well and good without dependency upon my line.
Second question: No, it is not a load of bollocks.
