You mean "do something"!
I'm also included in this "bashing Meat Loaf" club recently, but this is with good reason I believe. I saw him at RAH and thought he was terrific. From the Youtube clips I've seen recently of the May UK tour (and I agree it started out pretty good in Manchester 4 weeks ago) it's been going downhill pretty rapidly with for example Blind as a Bat sounding terrible at recent shows imo....
Songs such as AFL, Paradise and EVEN objects completely losing that intense emotional meaning that they all once had live. It's such a shame. He's doing too many shows imo, he just can't do it any longer on that scale I think. Resorting to miming is quite disappointing I think but I will never lose respect for the guy; he's done absolute AWESOME performances in the past!
However I will balance things out by also bashing Jim Steinman. What does it matter, if everyone is leaving? I might just post what the hell I want by myself here! LOL.
What the hell is Jim up to?! He did not post about NBAMN II, he does not answer our questions (something Meat DOES do! eventhough HE is touring etc...) and PERSONALLY... well personally the only thing I think he's done since Bat 2 that is brilliant is "Vespers / Cry to Heaven / Graveyard Shift" and "What part of my body"; the latter constantly being destroyed a bit more by this never finished Dream Engine group.
So let's start arguing.... ;-)
