| In Defence of the Board. First of all I think some people need to take a good look at them selves for the position they have tried to put JD and other board administrators in by saying if they don’t ban an individual they are off. Personally I think you are being extremely childish. And I say well done to those involved for not baying to the pressure. Everyone berates other boards for there censorship policies are we forgetting how great it is on Rockman where you can say what you want when you want (with the odd exception) do we really want to dictate censorship? Secondly I don’t understand how intelligent people can’t resist the temptation to answer individual’s posts. An individual who obviously annoys them to such a great degree. You make your petulant comments to her posts and wonder why more dribble follows. Not only are you putting wood onto the fire your giving it a good old stoke as well Thirdly I don’t understand the need for all grandstanding and melodramatics, there are people coming out of the woodwork giving their two penny worth who cant for one minute know what’s been going on here now and in the past. My fourth and last point, as some of the behaviour is of such a childish nature I will put it in childish terms what you are doing is pure and simple bullying. And before somebody says it I don’t believe in doing nothing. I believe if you give someone enough rope they will hang themselves Now to the people who take the time to run this board, Rockman or whatever else Jim related stuff you do. It is very much appreciated. I grew up in a time when to find any titbit of Jim Steinman information was like finding the Holy Grail. To be able to come here to the website, the message board, Jim’s blog, to receive the demos we did. I am and always will be truly grateful. And finally to you fellow Steinmaniacs, especially to Pudding, Dave, Justin, Evil, Brian, Smeg for all the stuff you share and do for this community I thank you for everything you have contributed you have bought me hours of pleasure. If any of you do choose to leave this board it will be a great loss. Not just to me but for any lost boys who happen to find there way here. | |
