Further to this, I think Jim played Bonnie a bunch of tracks, before they started her 'Speed of Night' album, and if she hadn't of liked them, he may have passed on the production job.

Saw Ian Hunter only once live, at the Freddie Mercury tribute gig in 1992.

He did a great version of 'All The Young Dudes' with Queen, David Bowie on sax, Mick Ronson on guitar, and Def leppard on BV's. Great song, and a great gig!

Incidentally, three Steinman 'produced' acts were on this bill: Def Leppard, Ian Hunter & Billy Squier.

Shame he never worked with Queen in the 80's!!
