You are hysterical. I love it. I look forward to Breed 'Em Like Sheep. Sounds hilarious. Now I really will have to try my hand at it.
As for remembering useless bits of information over something more substantial, well, that just comes with age. I can recite all the words to Sloop John B from 1966 but I couldn't tell you what I watched on television last week (except for 24). Or who my local state legislator is. (Actually, I doubt ten people know that anyway.) :>)
On the plus side, you could probably make a fortune on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
