Did Meat Loaf perform the rap himself?

That's good. Probably Jim would prefer that. I don't think he likes it when they try to imitate him. Also, Meat has tried so hard to escape Jim's shadow, if he has finally done it, then more power to him.

I was wondering why I haven't read much about it in the British press but it probably hasn't been released here yet. Is this the first time Meat has released an album on different dates in different regions?

What you say about Bat succeeding in Australia is true. Didn't it knock "Saturday Night Fever" off the top of the charts? In the disco era.

But this is why I am surprised that the Australian press are giving Meat a hard time at the moment. The ruptured vocal chord was bad luck. Adele has cancelled her American tour for similar reasons. It could happen to any singer.
