Just because Saddam did not respect the rights of his countrymen does not negate the fact that his trial was a fraud that disregarded what hopefully most people view as natural rights (i.e. due process). Saddam's trial, like Nuremberg, sets an ugly precedent for permissible judicial practices. And yes I realize that political relationships change (apparently very helpfully) for US politicians. Such as Tim Osman, oops Osama Bin Laden, CIA asset turned terrorist turned CIA asset turned terrorist. > When will people realize that the world changes with time? > Relationships change.
