Not sure of DE status. Rob is currently in Tarzan on Broadway. Well paying, steady gig with a family vs. artistic enjoyment. I know he loves DE and has enjoyed every second of it. I think it may be an issue of scheduling for all involved. They have everyone's other projects (including Herr Steinman's own), such as Skolnik's work with TSO, to work around.

I hope this gets to Jim. I, myself am a huge fan. "Bat..." was one of my first albums and I often sing songs from it for auditions with a fair amount of success. Sounding like Meatloaf helps but presently looking like him is a drawback.

Can't wait to hear about Wagner/Steinman song similarity.
