For those of you who don't know, Dave, who has his own ability to block access to his server, blocks my IP on a semi-regular basis. This means that when my ISP has me on the IP that was blocked, I can't access any of Dave's files, including photos posted from there on this board, to see it or download it along with the rest of you. When the IP is differently assigned by my ISP, I manage to gain access and am able to listen to the music he hosts, download the files he hosts, and see the photos he posts his links to. Now, it happened this evening that my IP had not been blocked, and I saw the photo. And my comments of it have spurred Dave to widen the block to my entire ISP, so that people who also use the same ISP as me, even if they are miles away from me, cannot view Dave's photos, download his files, or listen to the music he hosts. He learns my IP by looking at the stats he gets reported, so when he looked this evening at the accessors to the photo, he got my recent IP, and in a fit of frustration, blocked the whole ISP. Why? He says it is because he does not want to give me material for my "crazy theories" paraphrase, and at this juncture, I was being highly complimentary and supportive to him. But, it did not matter to him.
