As JD said, I accept that, but it is the subject matter that makes that all the more absurd a status. Would you deny Jim access to his memorabilia? Jim made a really fabulous remark to me on the air last night, which I laughed at and it made me feel good. Background: Public Service ads in the area about boating have a slogan for boat safety, "If it's your boat, its your responsibility". Jim has a boat which name starts with my initials and I visited him at the boat frequent times in 1995 as he was living on it, a 30 foot cabin cruiser docked at a residentially equipped boat slip. So he said laughing on the air, the slogan, and followed it with repetitions of the initial S, "S, S, S...!" as he segued into a set of songs. That of course correspond to my bit about discussions of him being my business. Now, misunderstanding and all those things aside, it is true that some people still have to process the information that I give, and it is not something one sees regularly. But, the reason I am mentioning this is because I simply just would like to appeal to your most generous and proportional nature, to please open sharing to me, and I HOPE that I would not be offensive to you in the outcome. Just please think of it, and please, while I know you've visited portions of my site in the past, just give it a read...as much as it is a work in progress, it does not do too poorly in stating things, and you could tell me where to get off in those portions you hate. I'd enjoy all forms of peace between us. I realize that even the bit about his being a DJ is a bit hard for swallowing not being accustomed to the reading, but if you'd give the benefit of the doubt, even humor me enough to process thoughts, that would really be great, and I think it possible that the sun won't stop rising. | |
