People also believe that Air Supply have recorded the song, so there's no substantiality in the rumour.
However, "Total Eclipse" was probably written for Meat Loaf, or at least originally given to him. I wouldn't be surprised if he's done a demo of it at some point, but he said in an interview around the Bat 3-promoting that he would never touch the song since he thought it belongs to Bonnie.
