Of course I realize that, I was simply looking at the others who seem to be posting that they are from the Netherlands, in common with your former residence. I'm merely discussing an apparent geographic, what is called, demographic. I am American. > I do however admit that my 6 year old is a Jimfan and I > would not hesitate to bring him to see Tanz or TDE cause > he loves the stuff... and is too cute to bother anyone. > I would also be the first to admit that I had him way > before any appropriate age, but that without him that age > would have never come. Anyone else know the feeling of > owing their lives to their kid? I would have to think that a great many people are saved spiritually, emotionally, or even in concrete ways physically, by their children. When I wanted to have the baby I could have given birth to a long time ago, it was this reason why I wanted it; but it was also discovered that in my situation, as much as I may have potentially been given by the child, the life in that circumstance would have taken too much from the child. There was only one reason to abort: the child's welfare. I went seeking some spiritual counseling prior to the decision and found a philosophy that I still believe, or hope I could believe, and that is that the child still had chances for better life if the child's soul was given another chance for a different birth in a better circumstance. If god gives souls new bodies solely based on availability, then I gave this arriving soul another choice, than the one where there were too many strifes facing it being born to me. I am certain that your life trials have had no dimension of difficulty of the likes that I was facing, and am glad for your growing bundle of pride and joy. > > K. > reflective and sunburnt... a weird combo? > > > > > > > > > > Is it my imagination, or are there a disproportionate > > > amount of Steinfans without children? > > > > No, but there seems to be a large scale tipped to the UK > > and the Netherlands, with many fans worldwide below ages > > of having new families.
