How many times do you get things from "ebay" something, "paypal" something, some bank, somebody saying you placed an order? As familiar as you are of the levels of some peoples' malice against me you should by now not only know me better than this, but know them better as well. If you don't then you 'll buy a circus from a guy who says that a sucker is born every minute.
Obviously, someone has the email account and knows the name of the poster. Maybe they sent it to him because they also KNOW he is self-employed or the company owner. When it comes to sending something to an employer, the employer we hope will have the sophistication to know that the absence of specifics is a very good indicator of a prank.
