I guess we will always disagree on this one, which is fair enough, but I'll make one more comment: No-one's disputing the fact that Ray wrote all the words, and in turn the rhyming pattern. What I am asking is does Ray DESERVE a 'co-writing' credit (and royalties) for creating 'Future', when all he has 'contributed', unknowingly, is a few non-specific words from 15 years previous, and bearing in mind that 95%(?) of 'Future's' lyrics are Jim's? I am suggesting that Ray DID deserve a 'mention' in Pandora's Box notes; either 'lyrical inspiration' or 'additional lyrics by' (much like Don Black's credit in DOTV), but because his contribution was relatively minor, that is all. I'm all for giving any lyricist (& composer) credit if deserved & appropriate, I just ''feel'' in this case, the contribution is just too small & non-specific, and that 'Future' is a sole Steinman creation, 'inspired in part' by something he was involved in years previously. > You can "feel" however you want.
