You mean in the second half of the second verse? Cause I find that really jarring too. I like that Desmond wasn't shy about using SHITloads of reverb on meats voice to make the two really long notes, tho.

But the song itself just plods along with no real purpose, which is no mean feat to knacker such a pulsing, insistent song. And Meat is holding the end of each note disproportionately long as he tends to do when singing live (not flat tho, so that's a start).

It just annoys me to think that THAT'S it. He's not going to record it again now, THAT is the Meat Loaf recording of Bad For Good. He had one chance, and as far as I'm concerned they frigging blew it.
