It is foolish to have this conversation.
Many very intelligent people, from philosophers to theoretical physicists, have debated this very same issue since the beginning of thought.
And nobody has come to a conclusion. The mysteries of the universe are not something that someone unravels in a night's lost sleep, and there can be no coherent conversation amongst laymen that gets anywhere on this particular issue.
So, ergo, it is foolish to have this conversation. A waste of time.
