| I used to believe a theory that pretty much every modern pop producer is influenced by David Foster, whether they know it or not. Later I stopped believing that theory. Not sure about it now. I also used to think the recording of "I Want to Spend My Lifetime Loving You" sounded like Walter Afanasieff. Then I heard it later and changed my mind. These things are hard to speculate about. You never know if somebody was influenced, or if they just sound that way independently. And if Steinman raves about how he loves producer X, still does that mean he sounds similar, or that he does things similarly.
