Although once upon a time I was told -- by who, I totally forget -- the cast album WAS made, Crawford and all, but remains unreleased. If not THAT, he recorded some demos with Steinman and Rinkoff. But you see Steinman's avid hatred for the project. He would never allow a CD to happen unless it was promoting a West End production with English lyrics matching the German original. Somehow I don't think that will happen for some time but, like I always say, wonders never cease.
