| I have just been notified by Amazon that a soundtrack for a musical called The Pirate Queen has been released. This is a show I never heard of. The thing that caught my interest was that it only lasted 85 performances. Since DOTV ran longer than that (if you include the full dress "preview") might there be a possibility that we get a recording in English of Jim's beautiful music and lyrics?Yeah, I know I have to take Crawford's renderings but I'm getting too old to be waiting this long. Failing this, are there any plans to bring the show to London, in English but in the form Jim wants? It's been in a bunch of different languages and I fel we English speaking folk are getting short shrift on this point. (No, I have no idea what a shrift is.) While I'm on the subjec of musicals, has there been an official posting of the "Whistle" tour yet? Thank you in advance. The Count | |
