| I was actually gonna bring up Steinman and homosexuality when I joined this forum but then read the big thread in the history on it from Dec and decided now prob wasn't the time ;) Either way I think that obviously Jim feels emotions very stornglya nd passionately but also that he tends to write songs from the perspective of characters and situations--More than You Deserve in particular was written for an explicit situation in the play of the same name he wrote songs for (ie I doubt Jim actually saw his girlfriend being gang banged by a group fo his best friends but it makes sense given the odd plot of the piece and the nymphomaniac wife who becomes obssessed with sex after being gang raped [on that plot point alone I have to wonder why the play wasn't more controversial...]) E > I dont know if anyone here besides Susan knows much of > Jim's love life but based on alot of his music one would > assume he has had either a very interesting, fulfilling, > and sometimes tragic one, or he just dreams about > relationships alot. > > I was listening to my Zune on random and More than you > Deserve came on followed by Left in the Dark.
