Basically, it's stuff from the aborted Karine Hannah album, "Batman" and "Dance Of The Vampires". It's a pity Steve and Jim won't show us the "Garbo" demos...

It depends on my mood, really. I think "Nocturnal Pleasure" is perfect but I HATE "Love And Death And An American Guitar" on BFG. It works better on BAT II, I think. I would also drop "I've Been Dreaming Up A Storm", using "Teenager In Love" instead. That was a sort of alternate monologue which is on the Ken Russell video (that should be on the DVD w/ the remaster). Very interesting, but it has a lot of lines from "Nocturnal Pleasure". Of course, all these monologues date back to "The Dream Engine" and "Neverland" which are both terrifying

I love Steinman's version from "The Opening Of The Box" promotional interview for PB. Best reading yet IMO.

I think it and the other orchestral bits

So what did you think of "Back Into Hell"? All I remember was being disappointed that it wasn't an actual song.

Kinda surprised that there were no monologues on BAT III, not even Jim's version (from what I know.)
