The Dead Ringer thing I have not heard of, nor do I believe the similarities mention (lead-up to sex, etc.) are enough of a reason. Naming a Steinman song that isn't after, before, or during sex is going to be a difficult task indeed.
Funny story about DimP: I once answered a hotel room door wearing only my boxers, with a toothbrush in my mouth, and that song blaring from my computer speakers. Right when the door opened, Jim blasted out the chorus. It was hotel staff. They were not amused.
