Symmetry, for those who would like to learn the fine art of knowing what symmetry is, is a space which has two like sides at either end of it, which makes for a symmetrical relationship between each side. Usually applied to the shape of something or a placement of something...equidistant objects form a symmetry when taken into relationship with what comes between them. Hence, a symmetry is something that exists in a pair, and between which something comes.
