There was a time in the world before television, before the internet, before radio, when reading was the only thing that people could have done, once they could read anything at all.
Those people who like to read, can read. Those people who don't, don't.
A little secret, my health problems make it hard for me to read long things too, but that is just because of the health. I would love to train myself into more brief phrases and say what I want to say in fewer words. Some people are really good at that. It's an art or a talent that I sorrily lack.
