| Being a guitar player I like heavy songs but the distorion on Jim's more recent stuff just sounds like a 14 year old Youtube kid playing an Ibanez through a buzzy combo amp. The guitar on Bat II and the Pandora's Box albums are wonderful. Catwoman's Song is another one I dislike due to the use of that same session guy that Jim obviously likes. If only Skolnick played on the demo's. Saying that, I don't think Jim would use this session guy on the finished product as the tone on a couple of the Wuthering Heights songs is awesome; both modern and heavy. > > > > Like I said, I haven't heard it in a long time but I > > remember the vocals sounding really bad - maybe Kyle > > Gordan or worse. > > Or worse?
