| The Bat Stage Show is apparently supposed to be choreographed dancers and stunts set to a music cycle playing. Think of Cirque du Soleil's "All You Need Is Love" or Billy Joel's "Moving Out". What I mean is, it would most likely involve stunt artists and choreographed dancers that mime (mute acting) to the music and not any known actors. Maybe a few well known voices to sing the live music for the dancers. Jim himself mentioned Cirque du Soleil and having to build a custom stage for the stunts, so that's my interpretation of what he meant the show to be like. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. > The 'one & only' Richard O'Brien (in case anyone is > confused) is starring in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang again, as > the Child Catcher (see link). > > Could he make a good Captain Hook for the Bat stage show; > similiar type of role?? > > Talking of Bat, would love to hear that it is still > happening, how the writing is progressing, and maybe an > updated timescale?? > > > > > | |
