I once had a photographer friend called "Flash" but I know you are not the same person; I think of him when I see your posting name, though. It was a really long time ago, and not one of those kinds of friendships that existed outside of a group sort of environment. We traveled, from our respective abodes, to various cities on the Eastern seaboard to attend science fiction conventions. I knew Flash from between 1977 to 1982 or so, or until whatever time we happened to have attended the same convention. He didn't ever tell me his real name, a secret he guarded tightly, but one person who he was close to, named Lisa, knew everything that there was to know about him because they were in a relationship together for awhile. But, nobody prodded Lisa for Flash's identity, and Flash happily went about being Flash, and he as I remember him, was a likeable, amiable, philosophical kind of guy. If Flash had become famous, and he and Lisa had a sort of an understanding that she could tell others who he is, or other details about him (without saying very much really), then the members of the Flash message board could be as hostile to Lisa, as others here, are being with me, with respect to Jim. Flash was a shy sort of a guy, not someone to open up to others, so he would not have entered into head butting disputes over who is telling the truth. The analogy is only because of the nature of Flash, the fact that he had his reasons for not putting himself "out there" at a particular juncture of his life. Flash is still as anonymous as anyone knows, and where he is today I do not know, nor do I know if he is alright. But I certainly do hope so, and the same holds true for Lisa as well. In general, one phrase that Jim Cypherd spoke to me several times in one rather cryptic conversation, "Life changes, things change!" Flash may be called by his real name, or another nickname by now. And Jim Cypherd is the composer of the music we discuss.

The entire concept of whether or not I am mentally ill actually becomes something different when you look at the ways that turn the society at large. People saying to other people things that may or not be true and the judgement of truth is based on whether or not that person has had the privilege of credible stature. Then the next level of acceptors accept what was deemed as the privilege of credible stature, and so on. What we wind up is a high stakes game of "telephone" and who really knows what is true, when we are merely taking others' words for it?

I'm about to design a nice page which will be the temporary index page for my lily sincere website, which will put the opportunity to read what I have written off limits to everyone, because it makes no sense to maintain. I will then bring the site back up in two months. In the meantime, measure for yourselves the value of reading things, and making decisions for yourselves, and the things in your lives that these decisions and judgements you make put at stake. The pathetic pity belongs to the ones who refuse to be their own thinkers. If you want to see the site before I block its access, you can for a couple of days more. Then, you will have to wait.

If all my value of presence here is the posts I make, then that is all there will be that I will give to you. But you have so much more that I have given, a year of my life put into these sites' works, putting together the information that Jim has given to ME to share, only ME to share, and you can read it, and see it, or you can ignore it and prove that you are pathetic.

I do not have to prove if I am mentally sane or not. You have to prove if you are human.
