i agree. i don't think it would have matched Bat, simply because Bat was something totally new and fresh, but touring can really help an album sell, especially back then when it was a much more crucial factor than in today's industry (or so i've been led to believe).

also, i'm sure Jim mentioned somewhere (i think in his blog, but i can't be bothered to go search it out), that the BFG songs were written/arranged in a key to compliment Meat's voice and range, rather than his own, while the Batman demos had him in his natural element.
