Yes, we'll have to wait and see. I know that Depp did sing for Cry Baby (maybe only in pre-pro), but they ended up going with another vocalist. Not sure the exact reason why, have to listen to the commentary with Waters again.
Maybe I'm just a Moulin Rouge fan, but consider Ewan McGregor. I think he'd make a devilish Krolock, and a far better actor than Jackman IMO.
While I'm on it, Baz Luhrmann for director. He's known for his visual stylings as much as Burton, he just doesn't have nearly the body of work. I think he'd make a very surreal version.
