Whether they were pro-jew or not is really missing the point Justin.

The point I was making is why hasn't Jim tried to write another symphonic work along the lines of "The Storm". Tanz was a 'rock' musical, 'Small circle of friends' was a clarinet or two playing the arias that would later be 'Making Love..' and 'Loving You...' in different arrangements.

Why no symphony?

Why no BRAND NEW alabum of JS songs since 1989?

Why the endless recycling of old material?

I notice Bruce Springsteen's new album has been heavily built up on here (though NOT spammed by his management - but then he has no need of that eh PopMan....?) - how would everyone feel if it was just a new version of "Born to Run", "The River", "Thunder Road", "Badlands" etc and a couple of brand new songs? I'm guessing a true Springsteen fan would find plenty to love about it, but most would feel a little bit cheated.

And I know this is heresy, but...I felt a little bit that way when I first heard 'Bat 2'...
