You're theories are intellectually bankrupt.
Perhaps he's a fan of Steinman's music and wants to meet up with fellow Steinfans, or perhaps he really likes the musical as a whole as fellow Steinfans do, or perhaps he had something to do with initial creation of Tanz Der Vampire? Maybe reading the liner notes of the Vienna cast CD would be a clue i.e. Co-Produced by Steven Rinkoff and Engineered by Steven Rinkoff
