I'm not really a remake fan, generally I find them laced too much with special effects just to sell to the public. I quite like some of the naff-ness of the originals. One film I wouldn't mind seeing remade though is Phantasm. that was my first ever horror movie and I pissed myself it was so funny.
Have you seen Fido with Billy Connolly? that looks like it's a laugh a minute.
