I haven't seen anyone mention this musical here before, but I just wanted to hear people's opinions about the film. I thought it was fantastic with great music / songs and really well produced / performed.
Only slight problem I thought was John Travolta playing a woman, which fair enough he doesn't do too badly but I still thought it was a bit uncomfortable to watch at times (not often though as I know it's quite tong in cheeck) but had it been just a normal singer/actress I think the movie might have been even better.
Certainly the girl, Michelle Pfeiffer, Latifa (or whatever her name is) and Chris Walken were excellent.
In any case I will definitly be bying the DVD when it comes out. Worth quite a few repeats imo.
