| I've mentioned this before.....so I'll mention it again. Should they do a Bat 'reality' TV show, to cast the lead(s)? The Grease TV show in the UK was awful (as was the one in the US, I think), but the two ALW did for the BBC (Maria & Joseph) were quite good. It was at the very least, decent TV, and they found two very good leads. Ticket sales weren't harmed either, including Grease. If Jim still intends a Bat 'concept' album with 'stars', they could be the guests each week, performing their track? This album could then be released for the show opening, buying time for a cast album (live?) later. Jim would obviously have to turn up each week as 'the' judge, which I'm not sure he would want to do, but it would obviously garner him with much more (and deserved) recognition? Bill Kenwright & Bonnie Tyler as the other judges? I say do it! | |
