One thing you quickly learn about ALW is that the production currently playing on stage is the best ever production of that particular show. Once the production has closed, and hasn't been a huge hit, then he'll say he always had problems with it and he didn't like it. And I agree that is is a shame that Kenwright's touring production of 'Whistle' will be what U.S. audiences think the show shoud be like. It's cheaply produced, and emotionally watered down. Will the kids chorus be miming on the U.S. tour like they did on the U.K. tour? | |
