| You know Susan, if things are actually that serious and sinister in your off-line life to the point your health is being jepordised of several fronts, perhaps the healthiest thing to do for a while is take a break afrom this board. I agree that there is alot of blatant hatred aimed your way, much inspired by things (imagined or not) that you've said here in the past that really pissed some posters off to an enormous degree. I'm not condoning death threats and the like but unfortunately for both sides, you won't be banned and neither will they and they'll continue to voice their opinions. They situation will simply go on. That said, the vast majority of posters here live far away from you and I doubt any have the real where-with-all to seek you out and cause you physical harm. What people say/do on the 'net is often very different than what they actually would do in real life--even what they'd say in a telephone conversation. I frankly don't understand what makes a format like this so important for someone to remain and take such abuse. The 'net is full of communities like this and just like real neighbourhoods, sometimes people fit and sometimes they don't. Short of stricter board policing I see no change in the dynamic. If you and Bright Eyes set up a Cypherd board so easily, why not set up another Jim-board and ban whoever you want then--perhaps YOU should make the alternative? I seriously doubt anyone here actually IS from your past, regardless of what you believe. I think your paranoia will kill you before Pud or Smeg blow up you 'puter.
