| There was an hour of Meats upcoming live DVD from London/Ontario preaired on German radio(!) tonight: Took The Words Anything For Love RnR Dreams Blind As A Bat Bat Out Of Hell IACBTMN Sounds like he sticked to his promise to keep things live without overdubs this time. Makes this one a different cup of tea than most other "live" DVDs these days, with all the ups and downs that come with that decision. The likes of Stupidhead will call it proof he cannot sing anymore, others will praise Meats vocal performance. Anything For Love is the traditional version (not the modified one performed later on tour). From those aired I prefered the non-standard songs RnR Dreams (with sax solo and big finale), IACBTMN and Blind As A Bat (I know, its a no-Jim bastard, but not a bad one to me). Michael | |
